Lil’ Kim’s criticism of B.I.G.’s wife, Faith Evans, mother Voletta Wallace, and the upcoming Notorious film, has prompted Evans to address the accusations.

Earlier this week Kim was reportedly upset on how the biopic portrayed her image and relationship with the late rapper.

“I’ve had enough and I’m about to expose them both. … I’ve been quiet for a long time,” Kim said. “I’m very disappointed in Faith. There’s nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin’ B.I.G. all day.” (Hip Hop Weekly)

Faith has now responded to Kim’s disses.

“I try my best not to think about it — it’s kinda sad,” she said. “This is not my movie. I didn’t write the script. Any characters in the film had to agree for their life rights to be in the movie. I don’t think I would have signed anything had I felt I was not portrayed properly. I think she had the opportunity to do that. I could be mistaken. I wasn’t there.” (MTV)

While most actors received guidance in acting through Biggie associates, Kim’s disinterest in the biopic left actress Naturi Naughton without any words of advice from her subject.

“I had the guys from Junior Mafia [Biggie's entourage and labelmates on Bad Boy records] help me out a lot,” Naturi said. “I really just researched on my own. I studied videos and spent time in Brooklyn to get an idea of the mentality.” (New York Daily News)

Notorious is slated to hit theaters nationwide Friday, January 16. (source: sohh)

I think Kim is just seeing how she really is and not liking what she is…but I can’t wait to watch this movie
