Flo Rida’s upcoming album R.O.O.T.S. (Routes of Overcoming the Struggle) will be released this spring.
The follow-up to last year’s Mail On Sunday has locked in some of his production team.
The “Low” hitmaker has been in the studio working on his sophomore release R.O.O.T.S. — the rapper has already worked with producers J Rock, Dr. Luke and DJ Montay, who produced Flo’s #1 hit “Low.” (Official Flo)
Flo Rida’s rise to fame came from his 2007 hit, “Low.”
The “Low” video debuted in early November on BET and MTV, inspiring nearly 100 YouTube videos of dancing fans. According to Atlantic director of digital marketing Brian Dackowski, the label quickly initiated partnerships with social networking sites like Imeem, where fans can upload their own photos and remixes of the “Low” clip. Aside from the album’s release, Flo Rida is slated to perform at today’s Adult Video News (AVN) Awards in Las Vegas.
“We’re extremely pleased that Flo Rida will be performing at this year’s show,” AVN Publications President Paul Fishbein said. “I think with adding a performance by Flo Rida to the mix you can see that we’re making good on our vision.” (SOHH)
